Difference in the Tailpipe Particle Number by Consideration of Sub-23-nm Particles for Different Injection Settings of a GDI Engine
Together with the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg, a raw gas particle counter was readjusted so that particles from 10 nm instead of 23 nm in size can be measured. A GDI engine was measured with both settings and the measurement results were compared with transmission electrosop and SMPS. The study was published as part of the Combustion Generated Nanoparticles Conference 2018 at ETH Zurich.
